April 15th is 'National Security Education Day'! The Tai Po District will be hosting the 'Tai Po District 'National Security, Family Prosperity' Carnival 2026' at the Atrium of Zone C, Tai Po Mega Mall, on April 11th (Saturday). The event will promote important messages about national security through a full day of exciting activities.

The program for the day is very rich. In addition to a ceremony, we will also be hosting the Tai Po District Inter-school Civic Knowledge Quiz Competition Final and Award Ceremony, the Tai Po District Outstanding Police Officer Award Ceremony, and the Tai Po District Youth Network Sea, Land and Air Volunteer Team Award Ceremony! For the performance segment, we are honored to feature the Hong Kong Police Band as a special guest performer, along with wonderful performances from 18 district schools and elderly centers.

There will also be a national security education exhibition, along with various booth games and exquisite national security-themed souvenirs for redemption. It's perfect for families to come and enjoy! See you there next Saturday from 10 am to 4 pm!

The event is jointly organized by the Tai Po Civil Affairs Department, the Tai Po District Crime Prevention Committee, and the Tai Po District Youth Development and Civic Education Committee, with the support of the Tai Po Police District, the Tai Po District Youth Network, the Tai Po District Care Team, the Hong Kong Association of Peace Officers, and the Tin Lung Charity Foundation, along with several other district organizations.
